BITE Mini Donuts Made 50k Gay Donuts for Pride Month!

Pride Month had this Queer Owned Bakery busy with The Gay Donut! This rainbow donut has become our staple flavor, and a staple as a Pride-themed dessert for Pride Parties and events in NYC and beyond. We felt very fortunate to have the support and enthusiasm of so many friends and fans. Our small business even hit capacity for chunks of the month! With your help, we catered Gay Donuts to over 200 Pride Events in New York City, sent over 500 Bite Boxes throughout the country, and - most importantly - donated 5k to The Queer Food Fund. This is a mutual aid effort hosted by the Queer Food Foundation to support Black Queer and Trans folks facing food insecurity....

Pride Month with The Gay Donut!

Well, June has come and gone which means that we made it through Pride Month! While we're proud to be Queer All Year, our Gay Donut was busyyy as the unofficial Pride dessert of New York City. Here are some re-caps:  20,748: We made almost 21,000 Gay Donuts! Read that again. Can you even imagine that many Pride desserts?! We couldn't, that's for sure. But with the help of our awesome assistants and the graciousness of our clients, we were able to pull it off without a hitch.    When we first went into June, we had an internal goal of booking 25 events throughout the month. The Gay Donut is busy this Pride Month!

The Gay Donut has been busy! It's only 10 days into Pride Month and we have been busy with The Gay Donut! We've served this (un)official Pride donut all over the city, including dropping off almost 2000 to The Empire State Building! What?! We're booking up for the rest of the month FAST, so make sure you forward this to your office manager and tell them that you need a spread of The Gay Donuts for Pride month STAT. Available in vegan! If you didn't know, for the month of June we’re donating 10% of our proceeds from The Gay Donut to Ali Forney Center, who protects LGBTQIA+ youth from homelessness.
