The Gay Donut (™)

BITE is proud to be the Home of The Gay Donut(™). It emerged as our signature flavor in the Spring of 2022, and it has been a fan favorite ever since. We are a queer-owned bakery and always donated back a portion of the proceeds to queer-focused organizations. During Pride 2022, we made over 21k Gay Donuts and donated over 2k to The Ali Forney Organization, which focuses on shelter services for queer youth in NYC. 

What is The Gay Donut(™)? We like to think of it as our version of Pillsbury’s Funfetti cake. It’s vanilla that’s chock full of sprinkles, color, and fun. Topped with a rainbow, it’s fun for everyone - kids in particular love the colorful design, making it the best dessert for kids parties. 

The Gay Donut (™) is a pride-themed dessert that’s available year-round. You can order Bite Boxes, catering, or individually packaged gifts for your next party or event - both corporate and private. Please note that we book up FAST for Pride Month deliveries, so please place your order in advance.
